Courtney & Hank

Our story began in April 2024, when we met online—two people with separate lives, unaware of how quickly everything was about to change.

Our first date took place on Mother's Day in May 2024. Hank arrived early (as he always does) and grabbed a table at First Watch. From there, the date naturally continued to Duplex Tea, where conversation flowed effortlessly. We talked about everything—from personal interests like future dreams of owning a Tesla and careers in software engineering, to deeper conversations about faith, family, and life plans. What was meant to be a simple brunch turned into hours of meaningful connection.

At the time, Hank lived an hour away, but distance quickly became just a detail. By our third date, we found ourselves attending church together and hiking—discovering how much we valued faith, quality time, and shared experiences.

From there, our relationship became an adventure. We traveled near and far, attending K-pop concerts and random dance events across the country—from Seattle to California and Nevada—and exploring the East Coast together, including Washington, D.C., Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, and New York. Whether it was dancing, traveling, or simply being side by side, every moment felt like home.

Between our adventures, we cherished quieter moments too—date nights filled with good food, unforgettable concerts, and intentionally growing together as we completed our pre-marital course.

Then came the moment that truly felt like a dream. Hank proposed to Courtney at Disneyland—where dreams really do come true. It was the perfect beginning to our forever.

And now, here we are—grateful for the journey that brought us together and excited for all the chapters still to come.
